I changed a 5 yr old Letro Legend that was well beyond its time. The Polaris 280 may be very straightforward to assemble and regulate to totally different pool environments.

I have a salt filter. However I still have too much calcium in my water I can see it on the glass shower door and fixtures of the shower. Does anyone know if a carbon filter will help with the excess calcium.

I have a water distiller.
When process is finished at the bottom of the stainless container is residue from the tap water.
It is unbelievable all the gunk.
I am a believer in using a home water filter for sure.

I had looked around for several blogs that would show me what your blog ultimately have. Your blog was by far the best blog for the information because of its simplicity and easy to comprehend. Thank you for sharing!

One of the best decisions we ever made was purchasing a whole house water filter. It just made our water taste much better, our hair and skin felt better, and the laundry came so clean! Sure you had to go under the house and put in filter rocks every couple of months, but it was worth it. Only downside, we didn't take it with us when we sold the house. But they are not cheap - at least the one we bought. It was about $800 used.

While it makes perfect sense to filter your drinking water, a whole-house water filter is a more comprehensive approach that is well worth the cost. The author left out one concern that is much more important than washing clothes - BATHING! We absorb much greater amounts of chemicals in our shower and bath, and these chemicals are driven into our blood directly through our pores and lungs without the benefit of a barrier like the digestive tract. I highly recommend considering the benefits of whole-house filtration. Products like the highly acclaimed HealthyHome Solution (www.pureelements.biz) offer chemical-free water throughout the home, and increase the life of refrigerator filters by as much as 5 times. In addition, green technologies reduce hard water without the use of salts, further enhancing the performance of your refrigerator filter.
