I can see your getting the odd spam comment because your using keywordluv. I feel your pain mate…using Bad Behavior and Akismet at least kills off the obvious spammers :p

  2. admin says:

I hear you! I don’t know what I would do without Bad Behavior and Akismet.

About a year ago, I bought a new Maytag refrigerator. It has a screw-in water filter that is meant to be replaced periodically. This is the first fridge I have owned with a filter and to be honest, I really didn’t understand how critical the filter was to the fridge operating effectively. So, when the “replace water filter” warning light came on I blew it off, thinking that it was simply a revenue generating ploy by Maytag (filters are expensive!). A few weeks later, we noticed that the ice machine was not working correctly and the temperature inside the fridge was not as cool as it was supposed to be.

Long story made short – if you leave these modern filters in too long past the “replace date” your internal water system and cooling systems may be adversely affected and in my case, resulted in a $300 repair bill!

    Moral of the story?

Buy quality replacement filters and change them per the maintenance schedule!

I agree with the admin.Well low quality comments should not be approved. These low quality comments may decrease the quality of the site. Therefore admin keep your eyes open for low quality comments and also definitely ’spams’.

  11. Hi – very good site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed functioning with computers and am attempting to learn code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

I have really enjoyed using keyword luv on some of my blogs because it rewards commenters for all of their contributions. Obviously, it does a lot to stimulate blog conversation, as you can see from this page. The only thing that you really have to watch out for is spam, which I spend tons and tons of time deleting. If only it were a perfect world

Hi- I really enjoy reading these comments about what plugins to run. I just set up my first site and will have to add that askimet to my site. That is if it actually works for me and people visit. I hope so. I also enjoyed your layout and presentation of the site. Being that I just began, mine is quite plain, I will have to learn about other themes. The learning never ends on the internet. Good luck.

  14. Its good to see people out there using keywordluv. There are a lot of plugins online, I agree.

  15. Follow Blog, Keyword Luv,Comment Luv & Top Commenters are fantastic concepts, linking is what the internet is all about at the end of the day! However they still need to be moderated to get rid off the crap comments like great post thanks or great blog

  16. It’s the best plugin if you want to encourage people to comment more on your blog.
