Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filters

Whirlpool currently manufacturers 56 models of refrigerators including 16 side by side models, 28 freezer on top models, 7 french door models with the freezer on bottom, and 5 freezer on bottom models ranging in price from around $500 to $3,000. Whirlpool has also recently acquired the Maytag brand which has immediately almost doubled the number of reliable, affordable refrigerators that they offer. Of the 56 models Whirlpool manufactures, 37 are ENERGY STAR® Qualified giving Whirlpool one of the highest percentages of Energy Star refrigerators compared to what is offered by the other refrigerator manufacturers. In fact, Whirlpool has the honor of having won the Energy Star Award for Sustained Excellence, proving that they are on the forefront of manufacturing energy efficient refrigerators that saves you and your family on energy and water costs while reducing the impact on the environment.

Also, of these 56 models, 20 models have ice and water dispensers in the door which use one of the Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filters that Whirlpool makes. Whirlpool has a feature called Fast Fill Technology which allows you to “fill any size container twice as fast”. This water dispensing design easily allows the use of small and large containers due to the fact that the dispensing faucet can rotate to direct the water anywhere you need it. Another feature related to the water dispenser is their In-Door-Ice® ice dispensing system that automatically produces a large amount of ice ready for your needs. This ice dispenser is located in the door of the freezer which frees up valuable shelf space in the freezer as well as providing easy access to the ice bucket. Both of these features take advantage of the water filter that is designed to work with each appropriate model.
