Whirlpool currently manufacturers 56 models of refrigerators including 16 side by side models, 28 freezer on top models, 7 french door models with the freezer on bottom, and 5 freezer on bottom models ranging in price from around $500 to $3,000. Whirlpool has also recently acquired the Maytag brand which has immediately almost doubled the number of reliable, affordable refrigerators that they offer. Of the 56 models Whirlpool manufactures, 37 are ENERGY STAR® Qualified giving Whirlpool one of the highest percentages of Energy Star refrigerators compared to what is offered by the other refrigerator manufacturers.
